Today's gourds are made from the original molds, which have stood the test of time and have been preserved for several decades. These period manufacturing tools can leave marks on metal. They are the sign of the authenticity of the production, a bias preserved as a heritage of the brand.

The French brand

The Grand Tetras the Gourde 1912

Founded in 1912 in Bellegarde (France), the family-owned aluminum household goods manufacturer specializes in the early 1950s in outdoor kitchen equipment under the brand "Le Grand Tétras".

A wide range of light metal utensils accompanied the post-war quest for freedom, in parallel with the appearance of paid holidays in 1936.

Carried by the legendary red gourd, Le Grand Tétras products have accompanied thousands of French people over several decades.
